DTF is an innovative new printing technology that is more affordable and accessible that DTG, Screen printing, sublimation, or laser white toner transfer. DTF required a modified printer, special DTF ink( which can also be used as DTG ink in DTG Printers), special DTF powder,and DTF transfer film. With DTF, you can change into a 100% cotton shirt without pretreatment, saving a lot of money and time. DTF uses much less ink than DTG. Unlike untreated laser toner transfer, DTF is washable and much better to the touch.
Print on film
Insert PET film into the printer tray instead of regular paper. First, print the entire image in white on PET film. Then print the required image on a white image layer, using the appropriate color settings for your printer. The important thing to keep in mind is that printing on film must be a mirror image of the actual image that needs to be displayed on the fabric
